Kartel Family Bio

Pin It Now!

The Kartel Family stands for K.nowledge A.nd R.espect T.hrough E.veryday L.ife.

A lot of people see the word "cartel" and they automatically associate the word with drug kingpins and negativity.   For that reason we decided to use the letter "K"..for Knowledge..you gotta have knowledge of self to know where you’re going. The Kartel Family was first started by Big Skilly who had a vision and wanted to start a movement in hip hop music.  When Hip-Hop was created/or born Big Skilly fell in-love with it. Skilly had a public access show (L.E.S. lIVE) 2 radio shows (WSTR & WBAI) and 2 internet shows all in 1996 which were all hip hop related. This was before the internet became popular.

Big Skilly started producing music and recording tracks for several artists in his inner circle.   He began to accumulate a collection of songs and started a team called “The Kartel Family".  We produced our own music using internet access which was the best tool to get music out independently. Skilly realized if this was going to work he had to get the right people on his team. Skilly recruited one of his loyal and most trustworthy childhood friends D-Dinero who grew up in Harlem and was majoring in business & accounting. Together they formed "The Kartel Family" productions. Co. Skilly handled all the production work, while D-Dinero took care of the business side of the operations. Building a studio at Big Skilly's apartment was genius. Not only did “The Kartel Family” have access to a studio now; but they were also able to put out their music right away. Our first project was “Triple Threats Mixtape”.  “Triple Threat was our marquee artist and his first mixtape was recorded at “The Kartel Family” studios. Triple Threat’s mixtape received good reviews from the internet as well as the streets.

Big Skilly started to venture more into video making and editing (Big Skilly Films) and quickly started to lose interest in the production aspect of the music. Skilly started looking for someone he could trust to join the team. Mec-one who Skilly knew from his graffiti days was also an upcoming producer (Mec-One Productions) was also looking for a strong team to hold him down.  Big Skilly realizing how dope of a producer Mec was and decided to ask him to join "The Kartel Family”.   Mec agreed and joined the team. Once joining the “The Kartel Family” Mec-one Immediately produced music for Dipsets own J.R. Writer and G-units Lloyd banks (Hate On Me). The partnership between Big Skilly, D-Dinero & Mec-one blossomed into the movement now known as "The Kartel Family" venturing out we incorporated Big Skilly Films, Mec-One Productions & Dinero Management Ltd.

Mec-one is the main producer, Big Skilly handling all the videos and episodes, and D-Dinero handles the artist development/management along with his younger brother Shawn Butters (he's smooth like butter). All mixtapes, Cd covers, videos, and episodes are all done by us.  With our strong foundation of artists Triple Threat, Easy, & Mo'Barz handling the mc'ing aspect there is no way we can lose.  We treat everyone with respect and we demand respect. Our Movement is more than just music, we’re a family and we treat each other as we want to be treated. We stay true to ourselves by representing that real hip hop music.

"THE BROOKLYN CROONER-R3"

GET FAMILIAR WITH THIS UPCOMING ARTIST

With his best foot forward and his head high, R3 (Reality through Rap and R&B) born Jose Santiago, has been shining in the shade in the underground music industry for quite some time now. Standing amongst the elite in the upcoming, he's one step closer to super stardom.

"There's so much competition out there and everyone is hungry...If I decide to take a day off that only allows my competition a full day to take a step ahead of me. It's a dream millions are chasing..." he says in reference to his work ethic. He's planning to release a mixtape entitled "Finally" later on this year. The name says it all as this will be R3's first independent project released to the public filled with melodic raps and smooth crooning with energy and hunger that can't go unfelt or unheard.
If R3 isn't in the studio laying down his smooth melodic vocals, or tickling the ivory keys, he's zoned into his iphone listening to instrumentals and constantly writing. R3 leans toward writing music as a form of therapy.
f rude of me but I'm an artist, and when artists get inspired, at least for me, everything else gets blocked out and I sort of drift off into 'Tunnel Vision Mode'."
This young rising star has a long resume of hits and performances, from blazing nightclub stages all over the tristate area (NY,NJ,CT), touring with bands such as LMFAO, Swayzee, and Jamie Drastik, to winning underground s
"I've literally been in mid-conversation with someone and suddenly stopped listening to them because I had to reach for my iphone to jot down a slick metaphor, or a catchy hook that magically popped in my head...It's kind
ohowcases in Atlanta on the "Make It or Break It Tour." But here in his own city, R3 has shown and proved he's worthy, taking first place in showcase competitions in venues such as The Bowery Poetry Club, Karma Lounge, Pyramid Lounge, and Sofa Lounge, and putting on electrifying performances at big events such as 105.3 Party FM's PowerJam and Hot 97's Funk Master Flex Car Show. R3 was nominated and voted in The Elegant Hoodness Music Program's Artist of the Year Awards and fell in the top 5 of NYC's underground artists. "He becomes a different person on stage. You can feel his energy when he's performing. He's dope!" says a fan.
R3's been the focus of quite a few magazine spreads, Get Signed Magazine and Royalty Magazine, just to name a couple and is a sponsored model for the urban clothing line 10 Deep Co. Also, to chalk up another mark on his resume, he recently starred in a reality TV show called "La Vie D'Aujoud Hui" (The Life of Today) airing in France.
"Since day one I've always gotten really good at what I set my mind on. I always thought I had way too many hobbies and could never decide on what to focus on. But now that I'm older and a little more open minded I can dip and dabble my way into anything I set my mind on. Don't ever limit yourself because the possibilities are endless."

From starring on TV shows, tearing up NYC's nightlife club scene, ghostwriting, and modeling, what's next on this man's agenda? With his stand out of the crowd voice, charming looks, suave persona, and an ora that's felt the second he walks into the room, his future in the music industry is seemingly promised. Stars do fall and fade away, but expect this one to shine for a long time!

GQ Beats Bio

Pin It Now!

The Creations of Wes Brown also known as GQ Beats, are limitless. With a piano, guitar, and drum set readily available, this producer carefully composes each track with the character of an artist in mind. Born with one hand on the keys of a church organ and the other on his ASR Trubo, his music is undoubtedly his passion. Bedstuy born and Brooklyn native, this superb studioholic is a stranger to few. And it is from Brooklyn, that GQ Beats has begun to part the sea of inadequate producers for his timely entrance. Inspiration to his current field originated from childhood interaction with people, such as his older brother Cee and God brother Madd Money Murf who was security for Big Daddy Kane(1988).

In 1995, He mimicked his childhood introduction to Hip Hop and developed a rap group called, Knight Fam which consisted of Mo, Don Price Omega Red. As a result of experiences that followed, he gained a taste of what a producer should and shouldnt be. Today, production is his way of supporting those who deserve to be heard. However, his contribution does not consist of simply recycled rhythms, but of uniquely amazing sounds tailored to the needs of individual lyricists. His instrumental ability allows him inject his work with a mini-orchestra when needed.

His versatility is a gift to his many talents. For him, the doors of Hip Hop are simply unbinding. He continues to step onto the stage of Hip Hop, Reggae, Calypso, Techno, Gospel, R&B, Ballots and just about every music category. The complementary music produced by Wes Brown aka GQ Beats on the Formula One Motoring website testifies to that. Currently, his tracks are carried through the airwaves by songs such as through songs from DJ Envy & Red Cafe’s Co-Op Album “Buck Buck” which Features Red Cafe, Sheek Louch, Kool G Rap & G Malone; “What It Do” which features Red Cafe & Remy Martin; also songs from Dj Kay Slay Streetsweepers Papoose – “Brooklyn Stomping” and “This Is Your Life”(Man Of The Year), G-UNIT’s Tony Yayo, 40 Glocc, Jay O Felony & Cocaine(We Bang), Cassidy & Frankie Krutches – “Hop Out”, G.Q. is also working with cassidy on his next prodject and his Larceny Family group Album which is coming soon. The song “The Game’s In Trouble” which consisted of the Michael Jackson’s Heart Break Hotel was brilliantly sampled by G.Q. for Lil Kim’s latest release “The Naked Truth” and was suppose to be a single but the sample could’nt be cleared but it was still released which was her 1st street release since being incarcerated for a year and a day sentence; “Brooklyn For Life” which featured Maino, Lil Kim and Papoose, Pain by MOP (G-Unit / Interscope Records) and (Stomp)We in the building by Maino featuring Lil Kim. In addition G.Q. Beats also produced a big diss record for former badboy artist Loon titled “War goin On OutSide” dissing Ma$e which sparked former badboy artist Loon’s career and brought another major spark to the industry of HipHop Drama, that record and another titled “Mafia Style” by Loon which is currently on his latest album that was released called “NO Friends”; GQ Beats has also touched the projects of Newz(Murder Inc.), J Paradise, Paul & Kraze(All Access DvD), Arlis Michaels(Real Talk DvD), J Arms(Instrumentals), Cavlar(Step Ya Game Up DvD-Earth Quake Camp) with production for his dvd’s and mixtapes, Cashmere(Cash Administration), Tragedy Khadafi(Death Of Tragedy Khadafi Album), and many more. Although much of his work may be heard on the radio, he also worked with DJ Wats & The Bakery, Cut Master C and Sickamore with Executive Producing services on their projects.

Wes Brown aka G.Q. Beats is currently working on many projects such as new Atlantic recording artist Maino who he entered the music industry with in 2001, both worked together building a strong name and reputation for great music now has an highly anticipated album coming in 2008; also Dj Kay Slay new compilation album will obtain production from Wes Brown aka G.Q.Beats as well as Dj Radio’s compilation, Dj Envy, Dj Capone, DJ Self, Dj Thoro, Dj Big Lou(Cream Team), Dj OnPoint and more. G.Q. is also working with everyone such as Dre(G-Unit Records), Young Sav Lenny S(Def Jam); Teflon(MOP) Dj Premier’s artist who made his grand appearance inthe 90s with Jay Z and mop on 4 Alarm blaze; Kool G Rap, Red Cafe, Fabolous, Cassidy, Nore, G-Unit, Lil Kim, Jadakiss, Sheek Louch, Joell Ortiz, Paul Wall, Baby(Cash Money) and more. GQ Beats also has many projects of his own, such as his new Production Team “The Extraordinary Gentlemen Music Group” which consist of G.Q. Beats & Ty Sounds; new sensational RNG artist Luthur who featured on MOP’s (G-Unit) last single titled “Pain” produced by G.Q. Beats, also The Big Sho of Show Biz Entertainment, (The Movement Mixtapes), Money Cash Reeks, Sun (Brooklyn’s Own) Bo, The Pharmacy RX Gang, Frankie Krutches & C-4 Records, LP & The New “Hate Honor & Heart Entertainment”(J-Roc), Push Montana (Money In The Bank Ent.), Rockaway Rome(Y.G.), FIIT Entertainment, Sky’s The Limit Entertainment, Gutter, Rome, Knight Fam, through which he develops both Rap and R&B artists. GQ Beats is not only helping to build a name for worthy artists, he is also making a name for himself. After entering the production arena in the year 2001, he has quickly developed into an exquisite producer.

The Streets as well as Hillary Western, Sickamore, Jean Nelson and more has noted his rapid advancement and calls his work phenomenal; also Riggs, of Shady records, has foreseen GQ Beats transition to stardom. It is only a matter of time, before he is one of the names Artists call when they need the perfect track. His ambition pushes him to paint his own picture of success. As a result, only he will dictate his ultimate fate.

R-MEAN

Pin It Now!

R-MEAN...a brief history.

In an industry where talent seems to have been lost in the shuffle of an increasingly difficult music market, R-mean proves that talent can still rise above all.  His lyricism is a gift that is comparable to no other, a style reminiscent of Nas and Eminem and a flow that will leave you mesmerized and wanting more.

R-Mean (Armin Hariri) was raised by his single mother after she was left a widow due to her husband’s shocking and untimely death. He bore witness to the constant struggle his mother faced raising two young boys on her own, which left him with a sense of anger and frustration.

Choosing the right path in life became the only option for R-mean who grew up in an environment where drug use surrounded him.  He began to pursue his goal of becoming a professional basketball player; however that dream was shattered due to a knee injury that would take him out of the game forever.  And so he turned to his pen.

As an Armenian American he has already broken barriers by becoming the first of his kind to get recognition in the Hip Hop community and culture. In addition, he recently graduated from Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Another characteristic that completely sets him apart from the average Hip Hop artist today.

After living in Amsterdam for the better part of his youth, R-mean returned to his birthplace of Los Angeles where he met an up and coming music producer by the name of “Blind” who had faced his own share of adversity.  As a result of a drive-by shooting in Pasadena, CA, Blind was shot in his face, losing his eyesight permanently.  Joining together with the similar goal of music in mind, they formed the Pentagon crew.  The name symbolizes the five angles of a pentagon; four of which represent the four corners of the world (east, west, north, south) and the fifth angle which signifies the Lord, who “guides us through everything.”

R-mean’s resume and music speak for themselves.  His unconventional lyricism and vision propel him to “speak the bottom of his heart from the top of his lungs.” With more than 13,000 records sold independently, airplay on major radio stations around the world,  and sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in Hip Hop today (incl. Nas, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, and many more), "R Dash Mean" has already built a large following independently. His unique blend of hypnotic lyrics and captivating beats has already been compared to legendary names proving his potential to one day become a legend himself and leave his mark on Hip Hop…and the world.

Heather Park

Pin It Now!

Heather Park is not what you expect. But defying expectations has always been part of her style. In a classic New York tale, she was first discovered while working in a Manhattan deli frequented by the program director of Hot 97. He eventually got her demo into the hands of producer Steve Francis of Stush Music and within months, her career took off.

Her voice is just as surprising. With a subtly sweet tone and her delicate Korean-American frame, it’s easy to make assumptions. And it’s part of why the powerful, sultry soul she unleashes packs the kind of punch you never see coming.

Five years in the making, Heather’s second album, Stay, explores the nuances of love learned, lost and reborn. Once again partnering with producer Steve Francis, she’s created a collection of intensely intimate songs. Drawing from a range of genres — R&B, hip-hop, soul, folk — she masterfully merges them into a language all her own. The album embodies Heather’s signature style of lush harmonies, refreshing live instruments, and poetic rhetoric.

Infused with heavy reggae roots, the lead single, “Trust You”, tells a tale about a love made inseparable from lust. “Somebody Else” pays homage to old school hip-hop/R&B with an exhilarating statement about breaking free of expectations and finding comfort in oneself. In the album’s title song, “Stay”, the stripped down acoustic track frees Heather’s sultry voice to soar and dominate. Deeply expressive and musically sound, Stay is a musical statement of personal strife wrapped in lyrical complexity and smooth resonance. It’s radiant, tough, tender and unique — just like its creator.

In 2005, Heather released her debut album, Dream in Pictures, and quickly achieved international recognition. Influenced equally by hip-hop beats and neo-soul sirens, the album is an intimate affair of understated cool. The title track captures a trip-hop twinkle, and “The Life” is a mesmerizing statement with bits and pieces of an orchestra. The “The Life (Remix)” was produced by Ron Browz and featured T-Rex and became a club hit.

Dream In Pictures received a licensing deal via Play Network, allowing songs from the album to be played by retailers such as the GAP, The Limited and Old Navy across the country. In 2006, “Is What It Is” was chosen to be licensed in Japan by Avex Records. Finally, in 2007, power ballad “Leave Me To Dream” was featured on the soundtrack to Michael Kang’s feature film West 32nd, starring actors John Cho and Grace Park. Heather Park has performed all over the US and the UK. Honored as a finalist in the Emergenza NYC Battle of the Band competition, she has also opened for Common.

Park’s personal lyrics and powerful voice reflect on her experiences as a Korean-American, but really she just wants to take her rightful place as a Seoul Diva.

Have you listened to Luvy lately? Out-spoken,spontaneous, sophisticated, talented… theses are just a few of the words that define this rising star.

The music that he makes is curiously devised to relay a story to the listener. His messages are of relatable themes and ideas which garners him a large musical following. LV’s propensity for the community is one of the reasons that he makes conscientious music. “It is always about the kids and the community, “ he says. Enter The Voice Of The People: Luvy “LV” Murray.

Coming down the pipe, LV has a new album and mixtape projects. The Album: WHAT’S YOUR STORY – My story and the listeners story as well. People who are struggling, going through all types of situation. The album is to help people take heed and empower them to overcome their trials and tribulations. My role with this album is as a counselor offering relief to whatever the situation may be. An example of what you can look forward to hearing from this project would be the first single. Strength is about a young girl who is taking abuse from both the father and mother. This song details her dilemma on if she should walk out the door. Another meaningful track on the project: Bring Hip Hop Back. This moniker should be something every Hip Hop head should be familiar with. This is a plea from artist to help bring Hip Hop back to life. Overall, this album promises to be an interesting mixture of original beats, quality production and inspiring lyrical content. Wait for it…

The Mixtape: FROM BROOKLYN – This is a simple project, set up with a plethora of artist that Luvy feels would make for a good collaborator. Some names you might be familiar with would be 50 Cent, Ne-Yo, Drake, and Lil’ Wayne to name a few. “I am doing this mixtape basically to show that my skills can go toe-to-toe with the best of them”.

In 1998 LV founded LuvProductionz to continue working with local and mainstream artist and to start giving back to the community which helped shape his character and musical endeavors. Engineering, producing, managing and promotion is his arsenal. True to his word, Luvy enjoys time with the children, which lead him in 2007 to found the We Love Our Kids Foundation (W.L.K.).

LV has been building his fan base through various venues and it can be noted that his ambitions are colossal. His visible and audible presence in business, music, and in life transcends barriers. His attention to detail and ability to think outside of the box has been always been a great asset for the artist. For those interested in following his moves, LV has a radio show, MY FLOW IS RETARDED and RELATIONSHIP RADIO (www.blogtalkradio.c
om/luvproductionz) airing every Saturday from 11pm to 1am. For other information you can take a look at www.Revebnation.com/Luvproductionz .

Listening to the lyrics of Luvy "LV" Murray is like immersing oneself into a musical genre consisting of rhythmic vocals accompanied with the backing of beats. It is the mixing of the art of storytelling and hip hop while placing his unique personality in it. Born and raised within the boroughs of New York City, LV's musical roots were grounded in the church. That’s where he was divinely guided to gain a better understanding of the true purpose and direction of his life. He mastered the art of tickling the ivories of the wind organ and strumming the strings of the guitar. He also harmonized with the church choir and with a group of six other talented young men. This group later took form and was known as "Chosen Generation"-Chris, Ronald, Sharrod, Michael, Jamel, Troy and LV. “Chosen Generation” began gaining exposure with their vocal talents in church, birthday events, concerts and various talent shows where they sang both known and original inspirational material. They came in Second place at a HOT97, a locally syndicated radio station, talent show and gained a growing fan base.

Though always a lover of music, LV recalls the moment in which his love affair with Hip Hop began, between the end of Slick Rick's, “Hey Young World”, and the beginning of a smooth summer rap by LL Cool J at a family barbeque. This blended sound birthed the cosmic sound of LV's present musical essence. He is an artist not unknown by the adversities of inner city life but unlike many young minorities of his time who have succumbed to these disparities, he used them as a catalyst to write, produce and perform music that inspires, connects and unites people who normally would have nothing in common.

Never afraid of hard work he began to seek out his place in the music world. He began as a DJ and graduated to producing demos for local artists. He also developed and hosted a Brooklyn Cable Access (BCAT) station named "AnB Music World"; where he featured artist such as Graph, Shellz, and Bananaz. This local exposure later lead him in landing a job with Columbia Records as a DJ and a street promoter for mainstream artist such as 50 Cent, NAS, R Kelly, and Mariah Cary. Gaining an understanding of the business aspect in the Hip Hop industry LV wanted to add more to his diversity enrichment to his life by taking on an entrepreneurial role.

In 1998 LV founded LuvProductionz to continue working with local and mainstream artist and to start giving back to the community which helped shape his character and musical endeavors. Engineering, producing, managing and promotion became his forte. He reconnected with members from Chosen Generation (Jetta, K.T. and CM Double) to record hits such as "So Sexy", "Hate Song" and "Watch Yourself". He also teamed up with Hood Fellaz, All-Stars and the Pimps and his artistic soul mate Uniq Being, an artist from New Jersey with a similar musical drive. Working with "Uniq Being" gave way to singles such "Old News", "Mr. Luvy". Inspirations of his singles have driven him into working on and the completion of his albums, "Love Me or Hate Me Vol. 1", "CBL Corner Boy Loyalty", and "The Definition of Luvy".

On his spare time he takes the roll of Teacher. Where he is able to educate the children and young adults on how to become an Artist, Writer, Engineer and become an Entrepreneur. Educating them on how to build and compose a song as well engineering their own work. Also, lending a hand and showing them show to copyright their music and how to become a better performer. Enjoying his time with the children he founded the We Love Our Kids (W.L.K.) Foundation. In December of 2008 W.L.K. donated toys to Brookdale Hospital and brought joy to children that had no Christmas.

LV has been building up his fan base through various venues and it can be noted that his ambitions are colossal. His visible and audible presence in business, music, and in life transcends barriers. His attention to detail and ability to think outside of the box has been noted and as a result LV has been nominated for a Hip Hop award with Upper State Independence Award show. This is the first of many accolades that will truly continue to keep LV on the artistic map. “Great singer, songwriter, artist and entrepreneur who has his game down pack”

“Where do I see myself in 6months to 5yrs”? “I will be making noise in the music industry whether it’s as an artist or doing management, production. My whole goal is to do what I love and I won’t stop till I complete that task or I’m laid to rest by the GOD himself. I’m too talented to be stopped I can almost anything and if I can do it trust and believe I will have it down packed at the end of the day”. - Luvy "LV' Murray.

Go Hard Or Go Home! It’s time to get on the grind!
Will Grinden is one of the hardest working musicians/producers yet to be acknowledged. With numerous production credits under his belt and a solo album (Rapper's Illustrated) "THE DREAM EDITION" on the way,Will Grinden is on his way to becoming one of the most talented entertainers to come out of Detroit, MI.Will is determined to be heard and most importantly for his city to once again shine as it once did during the “Motown Era”. Raised on that very same music and influenced by a vast genre of sound. He is looking to make the limelight shine bright on the “D” by bringing an edgy and energetic type of swagger and by paying particular attention to lyricism. He catches your ear with an addictive raspy voice and attention getting ad-libs. Most importantly he is an artist’s artist and a people’s person. His music relates to you on a personal level.
What will come to many peoples surprise is that fact that 90% percent of “THE DREAM EDITION” was produced by Will, himself.
“I know what kind of sound I fit well to, so why not produce my own sound”.He takes pride in being able to say that he has full control over the type of music he puts out. He writes, produces and performs his own music. The other producers that can be found on his project include to producers out of his camp, E.Blev 'Peace Work Prod. /BSE ' and CEO/Artist/Producer of Blood Sport ENT, Young Scolla.“If there is one person that really understands my vision and that I trust 100% to ride with me, it’s my mans, Scolla. He is the one that is always on my ass about staying on my grind and pushes me and supports me like no other. That’s my brother!”Will Grinden (who has a background as both a drummer and French horn player) took the leap into the realm of hip-hop in middle school, when he met up with fellow Detroit Musician, Young Scolla & producer E.Blev. It was then that he began to hone his craft, entering in and out of studios and both winning and losing various rap battles and talent competitions. He also accredits some of his teachings to his mentor, Jazz musician, Randy Scott. He then joined Young Scolla’s Independent label, Blood Sport ENT, when he entered high school and from there he has been releasing tracks through the various mix-tapes that the label has produced.
Currently Will is in the studio working on his first solo effort. The Project will contain 20 tracks that are sure to appeal to wide audience. The project also includes artist such as Young Scolla, K-Bunz, Pat Piff and Jay-Cro. He has made sure not to over saturate his project with collaborations, a large majority are exclusively Will, pouring his heart and mind on the record. Will Grinden’s critically acclaimed album “Rapper’s Illustrated: The Dream Edition” . The first regional single is an up-tempo, energetic club track called, “Swagger Right” which features Scolla.

The Bronx has long been regarded by many, if not all hip hop fans as the birthplace of Hip Hop. However even with this status not since the days of Big Pun has the genre looked to its birthplace for its next emerging star, that is until now. Hip Hop new comer Lutes Vegas has been on a rampage in the tri-state independent music circuit this past year. Winning showcase after showcase and electrifying audiences. His high energy performances have gotten him tons of attention. Most notably from independent Music Label TSOB Records. R.E.A.L (RHYMES EQUAL ACTUAL LIFE)

Ever so often, there is born a true talent.
The first time you heard Luther, Patti or Whitney sing, you knew that they were put here to sing.
They are examples of true and natural talent. REAL was born to the vibrations of Hip Hop. Daughter of DJ Easy Mike and niece of Grandmaster Flash, her gift lay latent for many years. She started showing signs of her gift at the age of 8, writing her first song called Looney Tunes but pretty much kept her  gift to herself, being overshadowed by the natural talents for dance and the art of emceeing by her older brothers. By the age of 12 she had to dance with her brothers on the street and at parties, or pack bags in the supermarkets for money to feed and clothe herself and her brothers. In her teens her talent for dancing became more prevalent, as once again her real gift lay latent. Experiencing a broken home and temporary foster care and eventual hard street life,
only helped to define and sharpen the consciousness of this artistic spirit. By the age of 18 her siblings started recognizing her incredible talent and feeling threatened that she was competing with them, they challenged her everyday. They were unaware that they were helping her sharpen her incredible flow and real natural and inspired song writing abilities. It was only a matter of time before others recognized and respected her flow. But they still doubted her. She took a temporary reprieve in 2003 to focus on developing production skills. But her true and natural talent could not be repressed. Feeling once again that she was not being taken seriously by her brothers and other artists, she exploded with a fury, producing an incredible mix tape on her own and catching the attention
of an amazing production team. NOW SHE'S HERE. Born out of the ashes of the Hip Hop culture, SHE IS R.E.A.L (Rhymes Equal Actual Life). She's been practicing her natural born composing skills (or lack thereof, being that all her songs are written without pen or paper) and incredible flow and inspired songwriting abilities
at various showcases and open mics and has been tearing them down. Now she's working with an incredible production team and has produced songs that will kick-start a career that will be groundbreaking. SKEPTICS TAKE NOTE; CRITICS WASTE TIME. ALL PREPARE FOR THE COMING OF THE (R-DOT.) REALLIVE ENT.
