Via @IStillLoveHER : @fenaxiz "Vintage"
Toronto MC FenaxiZ debuts his first full-length album called "Vintage," a 15-track collection of original songs carefully crafted with an appreciation for mid-90s Hip-Hop. Songs like the nostalgic "Golden Age" or the introspective "Empty Bottle" best display the sincerity and profound lyricism FenaxiZ is known for while the smooth "Queen (feat. August Rigo)" and posse-cut "Go For Broke (feat. Alex Dimez & Wylie)" serve as prime examples of his throwback flow. Production is provided by AmiR, Anonymous Twist, Incise, Jobe Wan Kenobi, The Quarter Inch Kings, and royceBIRTH as they fuse soul, jazz, and funk samples with neck-breaking boom-bap drums. Equipped with an old school delivery and poetic insight, FenaxiZ commands the microphone with an honesty and bravado rarely seen. As a golden child of east Toronto, he became known for vividly depicting intricate inner-city life narratives through densely-layered multi-syllabic rhyme schemes on "The Audiobiography" EP (2004) and "The Strongest Link" mixtape (2006). In 2012, FenaxiZ returns with the "Vintage" album in which he effortlessly weaves through tracks with a mature outlook, sentimental reflection, Filipino militancy, and utmost reverence for the Hip-Hop culture that raised him.
@IaintStarving @MrInfamy “Leave It In The Glass" feat. Rev Ruger
The Starving Artist Foundation is proud to present a new song release as the lead single for Mr. Infamy's 5th mixtape installment, "We Dont Rap We Drink". "Leave It In The Glass" features Rev Ruger and on the track, the two emcees boast about the feeling they get from the thought of sipping that first drink. Mr. Infamy takes you on the journey of the average working man counting down the last 60 minutes of the work day. He proceeds to tell you how one takes their issues or problems and put them inside a bottle and knock 'em down.
After a long over due break, Mr. Infamy is gearing up to take his music to the next level with a trend of "Lush Raps" aimed for the hip hop fans that love to drink. At the same time Mr. Infamy aims to share some of his drinking experiences (the good, the bad, and the super ugly).
“We Dont Rap We Drink" is almost complete and will serve as the prelude to Mr. Infamy's first Lp "Happy Hour" which is set to release Spring 2013.

If you have ever dealt with stress in experiencing losing a loved one and felt happiness in accomplishing your goals, Kayohes, was right there with you.
"I've felt the pain of seeing people come and people go but have also felt the joy of having family at my side at all times. My family, my music, and my education are the most important things to me right now, take those away and you have no stories, you have no songs."Hip Hop music has always been a territorial scene. New York, Los Angeles, Oakland, Atlanta, Texas, Miami, and the list goes on. Each territory has their own unique sound and unique upbringing that makes artists from those areas stand out. Albuquerque? New Mexico? Has its own unique sound and upbringing but not like those other cities mentioned.
"I'm from Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is my blood flowing through these desert streets. Did I grow up here, no I didn't, I grew up in 6 different countries: Japan, Germany, Spain, Portugal, and Cuba. My sound and upbringing are even different than Albuquerque's."
Kayohes is gearing up for his solo release "Stress City II," which is entirely produced by 83 Sound. "It will be a free download. It's my stories, my life, and experiences. The main concept is the stress that we (I) deal with on a regular basis. From losing friends and family to death, to dealing with separation and the politics that keep us down in our communities".
@MIKEBAGGZ - "CATCH22"
"Without leaps of imagination, or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning."

F.Y.I. also known as Foreshadow, is a co-founder of the Los Angeles based rap group, Those Chosen.
His musical journey began with Those Chosen in the mid-2000's culminating in recording over 100 songs and the release of videos, mixtapes, and official commercial releases.
F.Y.I. helped to bring Those Chosen to prominence over the last several years which eventually landed them URB Magazine's Top 25 Artists to Watch title along with a distribution deal with Wes Jackson's, President/Founder of the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival, indie digital imprint Savannah Boogie. Upon signing to the imprint, F.Y.I. helped write some of the major hits that ended up being a part of the critically acclaimed ep, 5IVE.
A record produced mainly by Grammy-Award winning super producer, IZ Avila (of the Avila Brothers) and
featured the #3 record on U.S. College Radio, Soundclash, along with cuts like Spare Tires, and The 1ne.
Follow up projects and videos with Those Chosen allowed F.Y.I. to work with some of hip-hop's brightest stars such as Alex Da Kid, Rich Kidd, T.H.X., Ras Kass, and Ab-Soul along with helping him build an audience through touring in cities, appearing on MTV2, and performing at major music festivals like CMJ, A3C Hip-Hop Festival, and the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival.
F.Y.I.'s charisma and passion for music caught the attention of an European network which allowed him to star/co-host in a reality show called Holland in Da Hood which garnered a weekly 1 million viewership for the duration of the show series. The anticipation for the show was such a hit that when the first episode debuted it became the #3 trending topic worldwide on twitter just below the NFL's season opener.
Now F.Y.I., a self-described hueman, is on a mission to continue to color the world with his songs, tweets, and videos by splashing it with new pictures. His upcoming record, Yo! The Places You'll Go is his most polished and personal record to date. The record features groundbreaking beats which compliment the always outspoken and sometimes controversial emcee on a new chapter in his journey through having message over mayhem and walking by faith not by sight.

@JRBricks - For All My Underdogs Mixtape
Download Mixtape | Free Mixtapes Powered by DatPiff.com
J.R. Bricks, the Atlanta-based MC who The Source has called 'cutting
edge,' is no stranger to triumphing over adversity. Nearly a year
after his highly publicized legal battle with the 'Waffle House'
restaurant chain, J.R. Bricks has returned with a vengence, releasing
his mixtape 'For all my underdogs' on July 14th. His 16 track
show-and-prove display of talent, which includes his infamous 'Waffle
House' song, stays true to its title. Bricks moves from hard-hitting
lyrical excercises to radio friendly club tracks with infectious hooks
seamlessly, displaying his lyrical prowess, paying tribute to his
hometown in the track 'Florida song,' and inspiring listeners with
songs like 'Go the distance.' At the end of the mixtape, it is clear
that though he is an up-and-comer, his fluency as an artist is enough
to send him from the current 'underdog' label into the category of new
hip-hop industry success stories.
@AlexYoungMusic Press Release & Video Titled "Don't Play With Me"
Pop-phenomena Alex Young started out as a regular on Sesame Street, and then shocked the music scene with the release of her debut album “Amazing.” Now she’s doing it again, with her new single “Don’t Play with Me”, available on iTunes.
Young has launched a national radio tour with her sassy new single that is sure to excite fans with its ultra-funky, pop-dance beat. Fueled by the success of her earlier releases, “Cold” and “Government Name”, Alex is ready to seduce you to “Do That Dance” – and the song’s title signals she means business with its battle cry, “Don’t Play with Me!” She plans on impacting major cities like New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Atlanta & Chicago.
Musical Director on Lady Gaga’s world tour, Kern Brantley had this to say about the pop sensation. “As a musical director, I have been fortunate to work with some of the top female artists in the world such as Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Mary J. Blige, Aaliyah, Monica, and Faith Evans just to name a few. Upon meeting and working with Alex Young, all I can say is here we go again! Alex is the next generation of modern music.”
Young's “Pop Power” is undeniable as she introduces us to this new song, a creative collaboration between the artist and rising powerhouse producer SeQuence. It’s no surprise that Alex’s "Don't Play with Me" quickly landed a spot on MTV.com after she held the #1 spot on mtvU.com for most watched video. Alex teamed up with choreographer Sheryl Murakami for her "Don't Play with Me" video. Sheryl has choreographed for Lady Gaga, Avril Lavigne, Nelly Furtado, Diddy, and was recently honored with a 2011 VMA for Best Choreography on Beyonce’s "Who Run the World.”
Alex has proven that she is a true entertainer. Her powerful presence exploded onstage with her opening for Cee Lo Green at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she unveiled her all new 2012 club show. Alex will also be featured as an opening act on July 26th at the WBLS Summer Stage show in New York City as part of her summer tour. She is also currently working on her next album, scheduled for release early Fall 2012. "I’m really excited about the new direction I'm pushing for my album. A funky electro-pop sound that's gonna make you wanna jump up and do that dance!"
Alex's love of music and strong work ethic, coupled with A-list production teams and choreography is a proven formula for success. In addition to her new music, she is also focusing her time on her new fashion line, “A Young Rose”, which she recently launched as a participating e-tailer at Fashion’s Night Out during New York Fashion Week 2012.This created a great “buzz” as the blogs were calling her one of the top ten best dressed at the tents.
