Brooklyn-born rapper Fabolous survives car crash on Queens highway

“I just survived a car accident on the Van Wyck in Queens, NY,” he told his 4 million followers on Instagram and Twitter.

“It’s a very shocking experience & may change my outlook on how fast things can happen & you're put into a life threatening situation,” he added. The Brooklyn-native hip-hop star — born John Jackson but who calls himself “Loso” — said he suffered minor injuries during the 7 a.m. crash. It was the 36-year-old “You Be Killin’ Em” singer's first car accident, he said.

“I wanna Thank God for not only letting me walk away with a few bumps & bruises but also for letting my driver Ruben & the two truck drivers involved walk away alive also,” he wrote. “Live, Love, & Celebrate Life #Blessed.”
It was unclear which driver had the right-of-way.
It was also unclear if the accident would interfere with his scheduled performance at La Marina in Inwood Saturday.
