Earlier this morning, a 55-year-old water main erupted outside the famed Katz’s Delicatessen located on E. Houston and Ludlow St., creating a massive flood and sinkhole to form around the area.
The water main, which was installed in 1959, also caused a 20-by-20-foot street
collapse.
